Taking it next month, need advice

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I'm taking the MCAT next month and I have 6 weeks of solid studying time.

I have all the EK books (with 1001 and 101 books), the TBR books, the Kaplan Books, and the TPR Hyperlearning Physical Sciences book.

I am very stressed on which books to use. I am strongest in biology (and probably organic), but weakest in physics, chemistry, and verbal. I would love to use the TBR books for PS, but I don't know if 6 weeks is enough since the books are big.

What do you guys think? I'm very stressed on what I should use and I just need a solid plan so I can begin studying and know what I need to finish every day.

I thought about using TPR for the PS section and use EK after to supplement, and just use EK for bio and orgo. But I'm not sure.

Please let me know your thoughts. I really need some help.

Thanks!

:scared: only 6 weeks and you haven't done content review?!

You need more time to do FL AAMC for 2 weeks
after you feel ready

well when exactly next month? If you want to READ TBR, you cant finish those and do FLs and the practice passages in 6 weeks

I have a similar timeline and weak areas. I chose to condense EK's home study schedule to about 4 weeks and then will go through TBR's physics and general chemistry. I also planned on doing a FL once a week to keep track of progress. +3 points so far, and I am about halfway through content review!

You got time bro. Don't listen to a majority of these neurotic posters. Yes, a majority of people here suggest three months of solid studying, but not everyone needs it.

Don't listen to them and just come up with a plan. Honestly, do DON'T have the luxury to spend a couple of weeks just reading through the EK chapter books and TBRs without doing problems.

What I would suggest is reading all the EK books. Then consult TBR's chapters for whatever you are weak in. You can gauge this by doing maybe every fourth question in EK 1001 for Physics and General Chemistry. You will see if you understand something or not just by those. Anything you really don't get, you should hit hard in TBR and practice more with their passages. Passage based practice is important, especially toward the end of your review. Unfortunately, you need to quickly see what you need to be spending the most time on. Don't practice things you're good at. Practice the topics that are giving you trouble. I say you can get through the EK Physics and Gen Chems in a week, then leave a couple weeks for EK and orgo. THen use the last weeks to really focus on those weaknesses and building stamina for the realy test by taking FLs. Not the ideal schedule here, but this is how I would approach it if I were in your shoes.
