Taking less than 12 credits.. will it harm my chances?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
As long as you can graduate with a degree and you can explain your situation as to why you couldn't have a full time student status in one semester you should be okay.

I believe so long as the average time in courses rounds off to be ~15 hours (not including summer), then you should be fine. Finish in 4 years and you shouldn't hear a word about it.

From what I have read in the past about credit loads, most people have stated credit loads of 12 being okay. If you are working, then there might be more wiggle room (ex. 6-12 credits with a 20-40 hour job).

Now what if it takes you six years to graduate but you are full-time and never failed a class...

...not that I know anyone like that. 😎
