Hey Guys,
I'm taking the Beast in 6 weeks and honestly today I felt like I had a break down. I really have never been worried about any test or really anything at all. I've been hitting about 55-65% on Qbank and have about 64% left. I am planning on just reading First aid, Goljan rapid Review (with the Audio), the 100 page HY as many times as I can and of course finishing qbank and repeating all my wrong asnwers before test day.

Honestly, initially I wanted to get >220 but right now with all this anxiety I just want to pass and be able to move on to 3rd year. Some of you may be thinking I'm just being a baby but honestly I feel like Crap.

Do you guys think if I just focus on these sources I will pass this exam. I've already read the Kaplan Physio book, Ive been listening to the kaplan audio every morning for behavioral and I read a chapter of my HY Cell and mocular biology every morning before I begin doing questions.

Sorry to sound like such a wussy but I would appreciate any advice possible. And for anyone out there going through the same thing trust me I understand what your feeling!

Best of luck!

Trust me, you have more than enough time. I only have 3 full weeks to study for boards but everyone at my school says its more than do-able. I started out with 30-40% on qbank and I'm up to the 60-70%. All you need is like 65% to get a 225 (not sure on this, check the online score converter).

You sound like you have a great start already. You have 6 weeks and that is more than enough time. I know you won't believe me but you will pass the Boards and you will get the score you want 🙂

Just keep up the studying and give yourself breaks once in a while to keep sane. 🙂

Thanks a bunch for your post. I guess I just needed to hear that. It's just that somtimes I worry I am going to fail. Honestly I've never failed anything in medschool. I have about a 3.1 gpa and did weil in the important classes (physio, pharm, path)

I just worry that I am going to get a ton of those questions that I just wont remember. I just keep hearing that people leave the exam and they dont know if they had passed or not because they guessed on a ton of questions but then they find out they got >220. I hope that happens to me!!!

Thanks again!
