Hello all,
My school traditionally required its students to sit for Step I before starting clerkships and sit for Step II in 4th year after clerkships. Now, my school had a significant curriculum change and makes us take both Step I and Step II in the 4th year (after clinical clerkships and all of the core NBME shelf exams).
Historically, our school would take Step II CS/CK in their fourth year because they just finished their clerkships. Now, given the change I still have to take Step I so should I sit for Step I first? By that time I would have passed ever NBME shelf exam + Step II UWorld QBank so my gut would tell me to knock Step II out first.
Has anyone done this before?
