Hi everyone,

I'm planning to take the August 2006 MCAT while applying for medical school the second time in the same summer. Unfortunately, I heard a case in which someone got a really high MCAT score but didn't get into the schools he wanted to go to because he applied so late (took the MCAT in the same summer as he applied in). Unlike me, this person also is a state resident so he had a higher chance of getting into medical school than myself. I am an international student so the medical school competition is a lot tougher for me.

I am shooting for around a 39 on this August MCAT. In the case I do pull near a mid 30 score or above, would it still be ok to apply the same summer as my MCAT exam even though my scores will become available in October? Would it be better to submit my applications early in June than in October even though I don't know my MCAT score yet?

Thanks!!
