Taking the MCAT July 10th!

Ok! So I am taking the Kaplan course now and its kind of fast paced and most of the stuff I read from the Review Notes take too much time. I am not sure how to really study with the Kaplan course. They are saying not to take any practice tests b/c it will make me discouraged since not all the material has been covered. So I am a bit confused, I want to start taking practice tests now since I feel like i will run out of time before July 10th.

I dont know If I should be reading the review notes in detail or should I be taking as many practice problems and then go over mistakes I made and learn that way???

Also, I feel like I can not memorize or retain all the information that I read, is that normal or should I memorize a lot.

We are taking our first full lenght Kaplan MCAT this weekend but I feel like I am not ready for the practice full lenght....
