Hello! Is it okay to mention taking vitals in the Emergency Department of the Hospital I volunteer at? The nurse is right next to me and checks the vitals I write down before inserting them into a computer. I've read that some people think it is wrong for volunteers to take vitals while others say it is perfectly fine. I did not have any medical training or certifications prior to beginning to take vitals, I was just taught by the nurses. Has anyone else here had the same experience and mentioned it in their app? By the time I apply, I will have volunteered there for over 3 years.

I mentioned it in my app, didn't have any issues. As long as it was kosher by your hospital, then you'll be fine.

I talked about it in mine. I personally don’t see how there could be any ethical concerns, you just have to strap on the pressure cuff and press a button. I was also always supervised
