Woohoo! I just submitted too! Is it just me or has AMCAS turned you into a paranoid freak? I proofread a bunch of times and I still feel like I must have made a mistake somewhere!
Speaking of which, does anyone else's status page say "holding for supporting docs"? I assume it's okay since they have received both of my transcripts...

if by status page you mean the page when you first login, mine says that everything has been received. and yes, i, too, am a paranoid freak. i probably could have submitted a couple of days ago, but i had to quadruple check everything. i'm so sick of reading my own PS!

and thanks to all of you other guys for your support. i hope you'll be around even after you matriculate as MS1's to support us through the entire app process. 😀

To this day, I still stop dead in my tracks saying to myself "D'oh! I should have said ___ on my application." But I guess that is the trade off between quality and when you actually submit your application.

$1230, me too! =) 37 schools baby, plus Columbia and NYU. Man, California, a blessing and a curse.

I'm too freaked out to read my application over, I don't even want to touch my print out cause I don't want my eye to accidentally fall upon any typos.

Yeah, I keep on thinking there are errors in my application! I'm so paranoid it's ridiculous. I checked it over and had two others check it, but that was a couple of weeks before I submitted it. I keep thinking I should have checked it right before I sent it (even though it shouldn't have changed from when I checked it to when I submitted it). $890 <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" />

If you know anyone who wants to buy a kidney on the blackmarket, i'm running a two for one special with one of my lungs and a femur worth of bone marrow thrown in exchange for amcas fees, secondaries, and interview travel money.

Unless you're a californian or a resident of a state that lacks medical schools, i cant understand why you would apply to 20+ schools!

I want to thank all of the SDNers, especially the creator of these forums (Lee, is it?). As a non-science major, I don't have many connections into the application process, but after visiting these boards I feel more comfortable with the whole process.

I know a girl that applied to 40 schools.. Man I bet that was expensive.. Wait till the secondaries, lol..

Lady in red applied to 50+ I think last year. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" /> She got into UCSF after being rejected by many lesser institutions!! We had a thread going about the number of applications and how it correlated with numbers of interviews and acceptances. Too bad search is gone, or I'd bump it up for you guys. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" />
