I get that this is an application of Poisseuille's law.
But blood flow is governed by the equation: Blood flow = pressure/resistance
By dilating by factor of 2, resistance decreases 16-fold but doesn't pressure decrease simultaneously?
This would mean flow rate increases by less than 16-fold, no?
