Hi all,

I'm currently studying for Sept 9th test since June, leaving me approximately a month (though 2 weeks of full-time study and last 2 weeks while full-time job).

I'm a retaker (Jan 2017, 506), and I have been using mostly Altius FLs for practice (around 508-511, CP 127-129, CARS 125-126, BB 127-129, PS 127-129; Sample re-do since last exam: ~83%). For the rest of the month, I plan to do (technically re-do since last exam) SB, AAMC FL #1&2, and 2-3 more FLs.

With FLs spaced out to be every 4-5 days, above plan still leaves me some time to practice other materials. I'm wondering what would be most effective method to reach my goal of 513 or so.

Unfortunately, I only completed TBR Phase I for the most recent version of GChem, Ochem, Physics, and Bio, while I completed 1/3 of Phase II in all those chapters here and there. Thus, I'm wondering if I should just (1) get rest of the Phase II done, (2) do 3 passages from all chapters' Phase III, or (3) go through all AAMC Scienece QPacks (already completed CARS).

I planned to focus on AAMC QPacks, but as I'm going through Bio QP Volume #2 (again, re-doing them since January), I'm noticing I'm getting most of the problems correct. Meanwhile, I get roughly 60%-75% on TBR passages, so I'm thinking TBR could potentially be more helpful.

Please let me know what you think!

I would do the Q packs right now get those out of the way. Fill in any gaps you find in your content from the Q packs with TBR passages. Take AAMC FL 1 then SB's then AAMC FL2 one week before your test. PLEASE REMEMBER that reviewing the AAMC material and going through each question and the thought process behind deriving the correct answer is paramount when it comes to success on the test day. Good luck

I would suggest doing the TBR phases that you are weak on but i would suggest bio ones for sure and some o chem questions. The physics you can skip and chem depends if youre good at it already. The TBR phases 2 and 3 are EXTREMELY helpful because they will challenge you. The MCAT will challenge you and you want to be ready to see things you are not familiar with. Also the Q packs do them if you have time if not they are pretty easy honestly like almost just review stuff you should know. I did them because i had time but i dont think it helped at all other than more content review

also do some Next step full lengths if you have the time....#4 and #5 are helpful i think
