I am currently deciding between TCOM and Western U COMP. I'm originally a CA resident, but I did my undergrad in TX. I qualify for in-state tuition at TCOM which would make the overall cost of attendance less than Western, but I also like the idea of being able to stay in CA and my thought is that going to Western would also heighten my chances of placing in a CA residency program. However, I genuinely think I would be happy at both programs but I would appreciate any insight as I have heard clinical rotations can be tough at Western and TX does have a great amount of hospital systems and networking opportunities. But again, I have heard that clinical rotations help determine where you match for residency?
Thank you in advance!!
