1. Anyone know stats? I.e. number of people they interview, of those how many accepted, how many waitlisted, how many get in off waitlist?

2. Did anyone interview with the Dean, Dr. Uknis? If so, how was she? Tough? Any tips?

3. How long post-interview before you get a decision?

4. Any ideas on good questions I should ask? (As I hear there is alot of time where they ask you to fill with your own questions)

usnews book info on temple. so i can give u # interviewed, # accepted

I won't have info on #waitlisted or #off waitlist.

Good Luck at Temple (I came away more impressed then expected) although I will be sending them an email very soon withdrawing.

In terms of how long after interview, i believe they meet 1 time a week to go over applicants so I would say you probably hear within 2 weeks to a month.

Your status online will update also so you can find out you are in online before you get the letter.

Best of luck

I'll get the stats up as soon as my mom calls with them as the book is at home and not at school with me.

Applied--Interview--Accepted --Enrolled

Total ----- -- 7239---770--- 493 --- 177
In state ------ 913--- 388--- 296--- 107
Out state----- 6326--- 382--- 197--- 70

GPA: 3.52

MCAT: composite 9.7
V= 9.0 B= 10.0 PS= 10.0 Writing = O

That is about all the stats I have.

Best of luck.

PM me if you have questions and I will PM you about my interview day a little later on.

I heard back from them in 3 weeks, small envelope and you make the deposit online with a credit card.

i'm trying to remember to help you out, i interviewed way back in september and was accepted october 17. we talked about my family (my dad is a temple alumnus) and how life would be different (i'm from the other side of the country). we also talked about some of my experiences as a graduate student and some of my EC's. hope that helps... nothing to stress over. good luck to you!

I interviewed with the director for minority recruitment in October...He was a really nice guy. He asked all the usual questions: Why medicine?; Why Temple in particular?; etc. The only crappy question he asked me was: "So...if you got into U Penn and Temple, which one would you choose? Why?" Also, we spent about half the interview conversing in Spanish, which was cool. I got the acceptance about a month later. My only advice for you would be that if you get the Penn/Temple question, just stress Temple's "extraordinary commitment" to patient care in the community...worked for me. Good luck!

I'm interviewing on April 5th. Will I be interviewing for just a spot on the waitlist, or do you think there will still be spots open then??

In all honesty, I think it'll be a waitlist spot.
