I've been looking at housing in phili and I was wondering if anyone has been checking it out also? And if so where is it good, and where do you plan on living?? Who's buying a house?? I'm debating if I'm going to buy a house or rent but I'm leaning towards buying.
I was looking at some places around Glendside, Cheltenham Melrose park, Jenkintown. All areas about 20 minutes north of the school. If any of you have decided, drop a line I'd like to see where you're going to be stayin.

I am flying to Philadelphia tomorrow to look at homes. We have been looking mainly in the Upper Darby, Lansdowne, Drexel Hill, and Royersford areas. They seem to be a bit more affordable. If anyone has any info on these areas, please let me know.

You can also check out Roxborough....I bought my 1 br condo for about $55k 2 years ago....in front of me on Dupont Street off of Henry they are building very very very amazing townhouses, so they ight be ready by September....take a look there.

Also, if you go up Henry, closer to Summit Park, they are building tons and tons of beautiful houses there....

I'm from philly, would have gone to school there but...boston is better. But you should check out Narberth and the main line in general, just as easy to get to school with about half the ghetto. Jenkintown is way too far.

if i end up goin there i'd live in manayunk or roxborough and commute it..
