I just went over my accumulated credits over the last 3 years. I have a total of 126 credits, but 46 of them are earned by AP and SAT II exams. Most of them are in liberal arts except calculus(CLEF). Does it make my application look bad by not taking more classes at UT? BTW, I will graduate this fall after 3 and 1/2 years at UT.

I know for a fact that Texas medical schools look at AP credit just the same as regular college credit. My father works at UTMB and is on the selection committee. He says that when he recommends a candidate for selection he bases his decision on GPA, ECs, and interviews. I have asked him specifically about AP credit and courses taken at community colleges and he says that it does not factor into the admission decision.
