Not sure if this has been discussed on SDN.

Recently this bill was passed, prohibiting TX Medical Board from enforcing maintenance of certification requirements for licensure.
Made it through Senate under the radar, some serious lobbying at House level to derail it. Fortunately was passed with some changes.

It is a positive. Unfortunately it does not prohibit hospital medical staff policies from requiring participation in MOCA. Or your employer from caring about it.
