Have you all heard anything from the dental school? I submitted the TMDSAS app on May 18, 2022

Which was the first school email you? What should we do now while waiting?

I submitted TMDSAS on 05/18 and got the email from them on 06/02 as below

"Thank you for submitting your application to the Woody L. Hunt School of Dental Medicine for the 2022-23 application cycle. We have received your application from TMDSAS and look forward to reviewing your application.

At this point, your application is considered complete. We have received your TMDSAS application, Letters of Evaluation or an HPAC, and a DAT score. Should you be taking the DAT again and awaiting that score, we will begin to review your application but will await the score results prior to completing a review of your application.

Should we require any additional information, the admissions office will contact you. Thank you.

Nothing. Trust the process. I've still got prereqs to complete, a job to go to, and vacations to take, along with other hobbies. A life to live, I suppose. If last years' threads are any indications, we should be getting interview invites in roughly a month. I suppose I should get my interview attire in order and work on school-specific interview prep, but for the most part I'm not going to stress about it now. My time will come soon enough.

For those that have had an interview, did you all take an extra pair of comfortable shoes to the university or did you just walk in with comfortable shoes?

just wear something professional and comfortable. I wore loafers the whole day.
 
Acceptance phone offered at 8:46 CST Dec 15. The dentist who interviewed you will give you a call

For those that got accepted, how long do you have until you have to reply and how much was the initial deposit
 
Just got an acceptance letter today! I was put on the waitlist last year and as tough as it was, God gave me another opportunity this year, at a better time, and I can't be more grateful! If anyone is losing hope or feeling down, just know everything has it's timing! Best of luck to everyone waiting to hear back!
