I hate to admit it, but it might be time to start reading again. Does anyone have any input about good texts or handbooks that got them through internship? Thanks.

That link is to a discussion regarding 4th year med student textbooks. I think the person posting was more interested in what an intern may read.

Most of my upper-levels love the Cameron text, and recommend it for the first year or two of residency. It's a good, topic-based review that is good for M&M or other presentations. They also say, however, that you'll eventually need to get a Satiston/Schwartz/Greenfield text. With my limited experience of 9 months of internship, I'll probably go with the Sabiston eventually. Our program is currently using Norton, and nobody is too excited about this text. I'd love to hear what the PGY3-5's are using and recommend.
