Hey guys, sorry, I was trying to find a HY neuro thread but couldnt. So I just have a quick question.

In pathoma, the guy said, A lacunar stroke of the thalamus leads to PURE sensory strokes (p.183). However, based on readings , the thalamus has VA and VL nuclei dedicated to motor functions... so,yeah. Any clarifications would be awesome!

It's sensory when it involves one of the posteroventral regions (VPL, VPM) of the thalamus.
