thank you letter

    Should thank you letters be hand-written? I typed mine and I was wondering if that was rude?

    fyi, this has been discussed to death on other threads (search for thank you notes)... to sum it up, different people think different things are appropriate. consensus seems to be that e-mailing is all right for student interviewers and that typing letters is acceptable, but handwriting is more personal.
