Hi,

Do you need to/or should you send a thank you letter to the interviewer immediately after the interview?

If so, what should you include in the letter?

Thanks.

Although it's not required by any means, I think it's nice to thank to the interviewer for taking time out and talking with you (since most of them are volunteering to do interviews). I generally include some words of thanks, something you enjoyed especially about your conversation, and perhaps (very big perhaps) reaffirm your interest in the school. Hope this helps :)

I agree with a monkeybutt. I just sent out a couple of thank yous with xmas wishes etc. I think it just lets them know you're very serious about the school and your desire to get in, as well as the fact that you are appreciative.
