Thank You Notes (Post Interview)

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I bought some "thank you" cards and mailed those. I think mail is more personal than email. I especially thanked the interviewer for the opportunity to interview. I also mentioned something specific we talked about so he/she would remember me. Also I said how much I was impressed and still am impressed about the program. Hope this helps.

I stayed there a few extra days so on my last day I went and thanked the director/interviewers in person.

Take a laptop with you, if you have one and write the letter while still in the city where you interviewed.

Print the letter out at the hotel and mail it then...they will get the letter in 1 or 2 days.

If that does not work....mail the letter the day you get back.

Most of the admin coms meet 1xmonth to make their choices; if your letter is in the pack, everyone will see it.
