I just want to take some time to show some love to everybody here.
A few months ago, when I first discovered this site, I had just decided to pursue my dream and I was hesitant, confused and unsure of my future as a divorced mom of three pursuing medicine. This site has taught me so much and encouraged me in so many different ways that I can't even describe.
Last night at my post-bacc orientation, I advertised big time for this site because I want to give as many people as I can the opportunity to be a part of this phenomenom called "StudentDoctor.net"
I want to thank the creator(s) of this site as well as the moderators, the med students who continue to visit "pre-allopathic" just so they can advise those who have not gone where they have. I want to thank the pre-meds who share their concerns, disappointments and triumphs. I want to encourage those who don't regularly post, but who are learning and advising their friends based on stuff they've learned here.
