The "buddy system" in the military

hey guys, this is my first time posting so hopefully I don't come off too incompetent

I am in the navy HPSP program (2nd year of dental school), and one of my long time friends is applying for the same program (same year as me, same school). My question is if there is a "buddy program" in which we can both get stationed at the same base together. A few of my family members have done this, but they were enlisted, and I know that the med system of the navy can be a bit unique when it comes to certain opportunities/options.

The program to which you are referring does not exist for dental officers. Even if it did, you'd still be out of luck since those programs require that the buddies enlist on the same day. You guys will just have to try and negotiate the same orders with the detailer when that time comes. Sorry.
