the change in the MCAT and admissions

    I hear they are actually going to bust up the 13-15 and give out real Verbal Scores now. Won't this affect percentile ranking greatly, and if so, if someone took the MCAT before the change (like me) and is competing in the same class as those taking it after the change, are they at a disadvantage?
    In meaning that it will affect percentile ranking, it is my understanding that it will affect the whole scale from 1-15. I could be completely wrong about this though.

    Well the 13-15 was a percentile range. Now they'll just delimit the range. I don't think it'll make much of a difference. Once you're at that part of the spectrum, it's not that relevant whether you got a 13, a 14, or a 15.

    Oh OK, I was under the impression that the whole spectrum (1-15) was gonna change. Thanks for clearing it up.
