Anyone ever experience this? I hate my day job. Except for people like doctors, nurses, firemen, etc., I don't know too many professions whose members can go home at night and think "Today I really helped people". Even the work I used to do a lab assistant left me wondering how much good it did since I was just doing a few experiments and mostly making solutions as I was in the "please work" time frame rather than the "act now" time frame.

It is so hard to find a job where a person is happy.
