I am intersted in FM, and whether or not this bill get pass won't affect my interest in the field. However, i wanted to apply for National Health service corp scholarship. So, what are my chances/ outlook of landing such a scholarship at this point?

This may be more appropriate for the NHSC thread. Unfortunately, HRSA is cryptic about what makes them select scholars (more likely just disorganized/dysfunctional/random) so it is very difficult to know what makes a good candidate. If you know that you fit the scholar profile, never hurts to apply!
