USMLE the latest one can take step II for ERAS?

I've looked for a similar thread but most of ones I found were dated. Is there a consensus with when you can take Step II at the latest for it to appear on ERAS? This is also assuming you have to take it before you submit your ERAS for it to be a factor in deciding an interview invitation.

1st week of Aug I would think. Eras opens Sept 15th.

hmm. doesn't it take approx 3 weeks to get your score back? that being said could i technically take it mid-august and still get my score back in time?

Over the past few years there's been a delay in score reporting for mid August - September test takers. The NBME usually puts out an announcement in late June. Might want to look at those announcements and schedule your test earlier than the earliest of those dates.

Dec 15th is the last day to be viable for the upcoming match. That's super late but yeah it is the the last day you can TAKE the exam to even be in the match.

thanks for the resource 2014 houston. although it would have been more straightforward if the USMLE had a step II deadline for 9/15 as opposed to 9/24
