The meaning of a "hold"? Possible rejection?

I'm curious if a hold at a school is a possible rejection? Does something good ever come from being placed on HOLD? Any stories/ past experiences??

I'm equally worried about the concept of holds, although to give some perspective, UPenn's been putting people on and off holds (and I suppose back on again) quicker than you can say MCAT.

Holds aren't usually a good sign. There are some who have come out, but they're the lucky ones.

i did not provide medical advice.....i gave a diagnosis of common childhood developmental problems.....then i merely asked you to get help....i did not give any treatment and or advice, or tell you what to do...i ASKED you....which is not advice but a request....
