Now I check these pages compulsively, and I actually got an invite via a status page this AM....great, now I want to check even more! (although I think only a few schools notify an interview via the status page...)

Stanford - even though it says something to the effect of your application is complete and no decisions will be announced here, I noticed on the interview thread that Stanford, Cornell, and Upenn (and others that I didn't note because I didn't apply there) will change your status online before contacting for an invite. Sure enough... it changed to an interview scheduling calendar.

And so the checking continues....

did anyone else find that it took a very long time before being considered complete at georgetown? i sent in my secondary application at the end of september and when i called the office recently they said it was received the 4th of november (okay i sent it from paris, but still that's much longer than the average airmail time). and they said that they never received a check i had sent seperately at the end of september at all (i'm sure it was addressed to the correct address and mailed in a valid manner) so i had to send a new one. did anyone else encounter unsually long times between sending the georgetown application and being complete?

It took a little less than two weeks for me to be invited to a Yale interview (according to the date on the online status page).
 
will there be activity the day before thanksgiving? probably not...for me...
 
strange, I got an email from Dartmouth today, I thought they were closed....
