Hey optometry peeps.. well, as we strive to reach the 1000 post mark I feel we should talk about something.. I don't know.. useless.

So, what are your hobbies guys? I know OD school doesn't leave you much time for one but I'm just curious.

Mine is flyball a competitive dog sport. Tons of fun and keep me and the doggie active. Maybe you'll see us sometime on ESPN2!!

Between school and work I don't seem to have any time for hobbies any more. But if I did have the time, I guess it's reading, and baking. :)

I definitely have hobbies. In fact, I don't know how I had time for school. Mountain biking takes much of my free time, but I also enjoy photography, camping, hiking, RC cars, and some other things I'm probably leaving out. I also get on the internet quite a bit, as you can see. peace :)

Is eating a hobby?

Then my hobbies would be: fine dining, and vacationing at resorts where I just need to flip up a little flag on my lounge chair and a man comes running out to take my drink order, returning with something that has a paper umbrella in it.

oooo I like that hobbie r_salis. I could definitely go for some umbrella drinks right now. :D

My other hobbies (other than flyball) are : reading, cooking (as long as I don't have to do the dishes), running (5K and 10K races are fun)

Is sleeping a hobby?

I enjoy gardening, sewing and cooking. I just started my herb collection, I'm so excited!
I also like to go to concerts when I can - No Doubt is in May, everyone mark your calendars.
