What are the questions to be asked of a group before signing a contract to practice dermpath? I'm path-trained. Just want to make sure the practice doesn't have shady business practices.
Inquire about TC/PC business or client billing with dermatology practices. Ask if they offer incentives or FTE's to derm offices in exchange for business (they won't answer this as it's illegal, but it certainly happens). Do they offer partner track, or is the lab just owned by guys at the top and you'll just be an employee? There's probably more, all I could come up with right now.
