Hello fellow future physicians,
i wanted to ask you guys a question about the verbal section. Approximately, how many questions does one have to get right to get a 10 on the verbal mcat. Just an approximation. I know that scales are usually different, but just give a close approximation. I was thinking about 50. What u guys think?

Sandhar,
I think if you miss an entire passage (about 10 questions) your starting at 11 off the bat.

From the scale of AAMC MCAT V (verbal):

55-65 =>12
48-54 10-11
44-47 9

Some guy in the chat room gave me this info.
Hardly anymore 15's are given out in the VR section. 13-15 represents a perfect score. You pretty much can only miss one question to get a 12. After that I'm not sure. This fella reportedly teaches MCAT courses for KAPLAN and is a MSI.
