I know there are other posts about the unbearable waiting. I have one scheduled interview thus far (my rec letters didn't go out until Oct. 18th and I took the April MCAT!) so I Haven't heard from most of the schools I applied aside from a couple complete postcards in the past two weeks.
Waiting for the MCAT scores was cake compared to this. Though I have plenty of stuff to keep busy with, I can't find the motivation to keep busy with those things other than checking my friggin' email and mailbox constantly. Yes, I've even called home from school to ask if there was any mail there for me!
I think I can holdup, but I wouldn't be surprised if one or two gunner-premeds lose a screw or two and end up in a Psych hospital because of all the delays and waiting caused by AMCAS.
