PS - Did you intentionally start this thread at 11:11am? I know a lot of people (myself included) have a silly habit of making a wish when its 3:33, 4:44, etc. and 11:11 is the best one of all!

Agreed. any school to which i have applied that has not rejected me yet, at least a month before school starts so that i can actually do it (i have a mandatory 4-weeks notice at my job). but the thread said "acutally possible" or somesuch, so...

if that's not in the realm of possibility, which it might not be, i would like this to be over fast. if i'm not going to end up getting in anywhere, i ask not to be endlessly on hold/waitlisted. if all there will be is pain, let it be quick and sharp. always had an easier time getting the "exotic" piercings than the tattoos.
 
I wish that UMass would notify me of my acceptance this month, so I can stop prepping to re-take the MCAT!

I wish the mail would come. I really wish the mail would come and give me the news I want to hear, but mostly I just want to stop being so goddamn anxious every time I open the mailbox.

Of course not! You don't need a 43 on the mcat to know that. Wishing wells, on the other hand, are a gray area.
