Things You Wish You Did Differently/Wish Someone Told You Before Pharmacy School

This is for anyone who completed Pharmacy School, their pre-pharmacy prereqs, just started Pharmacy school, or is soon to finish.

What are some things you wish you had known or would do differently on your PharmD "journey"?

I wish I chose a different pharmacy school. I was accepted to 3 schools and chose Midway College because it was the closest. They took our tuition money and never opened their doors. We did get a refund 6 months later, but I feel cheated.

I used to play indoor soccer with friends twice a week but stopped once pharm school started. I regret that. I don't see my non pharmacy friends enough.

Honestly, I wish I had just knuckled down and memorized maybe the top 100 drugs. It wouldn't have been a game changer, but sometimes it's amazing when you see P2's that don't know really common brand/generic or big side effects.

Of course, sometimes I'm that student.

I wish I would've gotten rid of the ex-girlfriend much sooner in my undergrad years. Would have been in pharmacy school much earlier in my life! haha
