Hi. I am in a medical school right now. I have completed my first year. However, due to the unconventional learning pathway, I would prefer to move to another medical school that have lectures. I don't believe any credits can be transferred, so I would start as a first year again. How difficult will it be? Can anyone describe the process of reapplying? Do I have to retake the MCAT? Do I have to get all new recommendation letters? What do I write on the application? Thanks.

You can't reapply (or atleast, I imagine it would be hard and you might be blacklisted since you already are in med school). You have to request to transfer to another med school. Some medical schools will take transfers for their second (usually third) year class and it has to be for a pretty good reason. I would recommend talking to your admissions department for where to start the process of trying to transfer.
