On Monday, the AAMC released a report containing details as to how the August 2003 composite scores will formed. These main rule changes were announced:
1) The maximum composite score will now be 30
2) Anybody who gets above a 30 according to the old ridiculous method of scoring will have their score reduced by twice the exact number of points above 30 they scored. Also, those violating the maximum score rule will have their character assassinated by a group of artificially intelligent robots who control the media.
3) The writing sample will be eliminated because frankly, it sucks. If you as much as write one word of garbage on the paper, your score will not be affected but you will have to live with the fact that you are a tool. A tool, tool, tool. For bonus points, you may write an essay on why it sucks.
4) If you are a member of SDN, your score will be reduced 4 points, because afterwards you're goina lie about your score anyway and say it was 4 points higher than it was.
5) In addition to being able to void your scores at the end of the exam, you may choose to void your life. In that case, your test will not be scored, and your heart will not be beating. Remember to grant the AAMC power of attorney before checking this option.
6) In the biological sciences section, questions on genetics, eukaryotes, and immunology and anything related to biology will be replaced with questions on organic chemistry. These questions will have no right answer.
Sincerely,
the AAMC commitee on improving the MCAT and making more soul-less doctors.
