Hi! I am in my second year at Washington University School of Medicine. I realized that there is a lot of cool stuff happening at medical school and decided to make a podcast. The podcast is called "This Week in Medical School" or TWIMS. TWIMS is a podcast focusing on medicine, medical school and medical students. The show includes interviews with medical students, faculty, top notch researchers, medical news, as well as, creative pieces from medical students. The pilot episode is on iTunes. Just go to iTunes and type in "This Week in Medical School" in the music store search.

The show is also posted on a website and can now be subscribed to (via the website) or played directly from the website.

Subscribing requires iTunes and allows you to get updates of the podcast automatically sent to your computer whenever they are available. Just hit the funky purple symbol that says "subscribe" next to it. If you just want to listen to the show from the web, you can do that too. Just click "listen" under "Episode 1" and hit the play button. Enjoy!

yeah yeah, those are 3rd year med students, I think. I have NO idea how they have time for it. I think the website has a link for you email any comments and questions.

Ok, for those of us that are new to Itunes where do I look for that meducast thing. (Ok so sue me, I'm a PC person so apple software is weird to me 🙂 )

I guess "Premed Focus" on the TWIMS website has a good answer to my question (i.e., "Is research necessary to get into medical school?"). What do you guys think?
