supposedly the chairman got fired because of some transplant debacle (not sure of the details, but i am sure this was all over the news a few months ago...)
they currently have an acting chairman, someone who has been at TJ for many years, who was the former PD, and really has the best welfare for TJ at heart. however, he is very old and is no longer operating.
the PD has been the same guy for years, and seemed really great.
they are looking to hire a new chairman, hopefully by the time we are interns, but who knows really how long that process is going to take.
i personally liked it when i went to interview, and found this "chairman thing" to be the only major flaw.
