Hello and thanks for looking.

My question is for those who have previously taken the PCAT. For the Math section, is there a trend for particular types of problem? For instance, is it more calculus oriented? or a broad of geometry, basic algebra, trig, and calculus? My reason for asking is that I do not want to waste time remembering things such as, how to find the area of a trapezoid! Thank you.

Same for chemistry. Kaplan offers review on thermo, etcs., is it necessary to review?

Depending on how much time you have I would review the basics of each part (geo, calc, trig) then if you have time move on to the more obscure topics like the areas of weird shapes. Definitely know how to do simple integrals and derivatives, algebra, basic geometry and trig and if you have time go into more detail. Same with chem. Know basic organic (naming, sn1/2, E1/2, etc.).
