Probably don't need a whole thread for this, but these apps are all similar.

My question is how people are listing things. I know columbia says to separate using comas, but Hopkins doesn't say. I numbered sequentially because it looks easier to read. Any thoughts? I have more questions, but this is all I can think of at the moment.

thanks

If it doesnt say, it doesnt matter. I personally use commas or semicolons, but if it makes a difference to the adcoms, then I probably am not anal-retentive enough to attend their med school anyway.

For Columbia's essay sections they have a thing where they say you can upload additional document prepared in a word processor if you like. What do we include here? Should we put in our personal statement for AMCAS or some othere thing about why we want to go to Columbia or something else? What did you do in this space if anything?

I needed to add an extra sheet for classes, since they didn't have nearly enough room for mine in the spaces they provided. I also added a sheet for publications/conference presentations, since they don't have any other place to list them. But, I would say that unless you have something very important that doesn't fit anywhere else, don't bother as you're just going to unnecessarily increase their load.

You can put in anything you want. Maybe a detailed description of your activities (like AMCAS) would be good.

I have a question. For the Hopkins secondary, when they ask you to list academic awards and honors, does this count only for school stuff (i.e. dean's list) or for anything (like volunteer awards, etc.)?
