Could someone give me a breakdown of the time periods that would be considered, "very early", "early", "neither early nor late", "late", and "very late" for the application process?

From my current knowledge,

June --> mid July: Very Early
mid July --> mid August: Early

mid August --> mid September: Neither early nor late...

mid September --> mid October: Late
mid October or later...: Very late

Would this be accurate?

From my experience, this is what I've found:

first 2 weeks of June: Early

last 2 weeks of June and July: Average

After that: You should still be fine, but you could be pushing your luck if you're going for really competitive schools or if your numbers aren't stellar. I would shoot for July 1 and as long as you land near there you should be fine!

Cheers,
Jarrod

before 12:04 AM, Friday June 4th 2010 is considered early.

between 12:04-1AM is just about on time

and any time after that you are kind of pushing it
