Hello everyone. I just have two quick questions, does it matter how long it takes you to complete your pre-reqs? For example, if I only did 12 hours/semester (Physics 1, Organic 1, Organic 2) would that lessen my chances of gaining entrance into med school? Thanks.:)

Nope. You're good. ;)

Any reason why you're only taking 12 credits this semester though?

Just to get more involved as far as community service and research goes.:D
Ah, I see. Just try not to get too behind as far as credits go by only taking 12 per semester.

No, as long as you finish all the required classes before you graduate, you should be good. Although taking all the reqs early on so you can sign up for upper level science courses won't hurt you. :)

Definitely try to take your pre-reqs as early as possible...it makes everything else down the road so much easier. You have the option to take upper level science classes, can study for the MCAT sooner, etc.
