I plan on taking the April 04 MCAT, and will be nearly finished w/ both Physics and Orgo (I'll be taking those classes this coming school year). If I make sure I learn the material very well in class for those two classes will I be sufficiantly prepared without additional review? Is it a bad idea to take the MCAT w/o having completely finished those classes? Also, I wanted to ask what you all reccomend for reviewing Bio and Gen Chem? I took both of those classes about 2 years ago and I feel a bit rusty in them, especially chem. I'm considereing Audio Osmosis, BR home study books, and EK's 1001 chem and bio... Finally, how are EK's review books for bio and chem? Thanks for your help!

I would get the mcat review books and study for the mcat while you're learning the material in class.

im kinda doing the same thing, as i will be taking ochem II in the spring of 04 when i am studying for the mcat

You don't need much ochem for the mcat. I was in the middle of taking ochem last spring ('03) and sat for the april mcat. I got an 11 in my bio/ochem section after only reviewing information in the Exam Krackers books. The EK ochem book is pretty thin, but it covered everything adequately.
