question about getting ny residency. I heard it is pretty easy to get ny residency however, i searched today, and found out that if you are financially dependent, your parents should be living in ny too..

is that true? Also in order to be financially independent, you have to have a job? and tax return form?

When you are in dental school you are considered financially independent.

yupp and most schools allow you to apply for instate tuition after the first year.
