KatKlink said:any news?
paradiselost said:I spoke with Dr. Heinrich today. He mentioned something about still having too many people for next year's entering class, and they're still waiting for withdrawals before moving on to the waitlist. Good luck, everybody...
Timmythemic22 said:Ooh.... I don't like the sounds of that. Reason to be scared yet?
Timmythemic22 said:bump... just called admissions yet again yesterday, no news... this sucks.

Timmythemic22 said:Sorry for double-posting, but Paradise, how do you get directly to Dr. Heinrich, does he have a private line? I've only been able to get the number for admissions right now.
paradiselost said:I'm in the Master's program at UMDNJ. I walked into his office and asked for an appointment. If you're in the area, you don't have to be a student - I'm pretty sure you can ask for an appointment and meet with him to chat anyway. He's quite succinct and helpful in terms of going over your application and letting you know where you can improve.
Good luck.
Timmythemic22 said:You have a wait ahead of you unfortunately. The fact that you haven't received a rejection letter at this point after they starting cutting people out of the wait list is a good sign. However, it does seem like most people who were accepted are keeping their spot... which is bad for us waitlisters. Try to keep positive, though I know it's rough.
By the way, if any waitlisters call admissions for info, please post any new information you have.
Thanks!
Timmythemic22 said:eh, I'm going to try and keep this thread alive as long as I can. The thing that's killing me is keeping hope alive for NJMS, but then having to plan for moving to DC for my post bacc premed program at Georgetown if I don't get off the list. I'm going to be frantic the last couple of weeks if I have to find financial aid and housing at THAT point.
The waitlist is a cruel joke in life.
