So I currently have a 3.3 GPA and I recently found out about a policy where I can drop a semester for medical reasons. I have a legitimate reason for dropping the semester that destroyed my GPA but what is holding me back is that it was two years ago. I would be dropping Physics 1 and two labs that are pre-reqs for all schools. I have since taken Physics 2 and the subsequent labs. If I were to drop that semester and retake those courses would that look bad? Again, it is for a legitimate reason but I am not sure how schools would see it. @Goro @gyngyn @LizzyM

Absolutely Drop. I was able to drop multiple semesters because of mental health issues. (Years ago but they were still in my transcript and dragging down my gpa)

Def drop it. Don't worry about the physics classes being out of sync.
