To PBL or not to PBL, that is the question

I'm having trouble ranking UTMB and Tech, b/c I'm unsure if I would enjoy UTMB's PBL program. It sounds great and all, but it's much more subjective than traditional objective grading. Anyone else having the same problem?

UTMB over Tech every time. I doubt UTMB is straight PBL all the way through.

PBL is silly, it needs to be buried like all other fads. objective all the way. and concerning pass/fail--from grades to H/P/F to P/F...im just waiting for universal pass for anyone who is "good enough to get accepted"

I donno if PBL is silly, or a fad. In hind sight, I wish I did PBL. I think it would have jived much better with my learning style. My friends who did PBL absolutely loved it, and they all did well on their boards. However, I'd really check out the program and see what it really entails. Many schools are going more integrated with some PBL mixed in. I would have preferred full on PBL though.
