...that is the question.
Whether tis nobler to suffer the hundreds of power point slides in an attempt to do well on my very difficult Public Health Aspects of Cardiovascular Disease class, to to forget about it and do the graduate school equivilant of a senior slide. I did well on the midterm, my group did very well on the group project that is 40% of our grade. The final is 35% of my grade. I've already been accepted to my top choice for med school, and I only need a B or better for my degree. It's the night before the exam and I haven't studied at all. The question is, how much should I slack?

I'm gonna have to go with this one. Getting drunk sounds interesting, but I've got non-school stuff to do. Ever since Senior Week in college it's hard for me to drink heavily and inappropriately. Probably a good thing.

Lola - how is it that you did an MPH and still have to take English classes? Was your undergrad decidedly not liberal arts?

my ug was DEFINITELY liberal arts. my premed advisor suggested i take english b/c i didn't have a full year -- only had 1 semester and it was in england. i had a freshman writing course (in the bio department though & not designated as such on amcas) as well as several humaties courses, but she thought that wasn't good enough. bleh. so i'm taking a community college english course 🙄 oh the hurdles i must jump through! hopefully i can pull off an A so that i can report it to med schools. it oughtta really knock their socks off  only 300-600 words left to write!!

good luck on your test!

ANNOUNCEMENT:
err... not that anyone cares, but i am officially finished with my english class
1399 words with a 1200-1500 word range allowed.

I have a final Thursday morning at 8am which I haven't begun to study for, and I just got back from the Two Towers. Now it's 3:30am, and I'm way to hyped up to go to sleep.

But it was sooooo worth it. 😀 😀 😀

I'm a firm believer in getting drunk instead of whatever the alternative is.

well, it's 7:30 AM, and here I am in the student lounge 30 minutes before my final. A classmate of mine is busy studying, but I'm surfing my two favorite websites (SND and www.storageforum.net). I read through the lecture notes quickly last night, and then decided that my time was better spent hacking away trying to get RedHat 8's email client working.

Good luck to everybody who still needs to do well in their classes!

After the horrendous biochem exam yesterday, I feel like I'm done and have refused to study for my Instrumental chem exam today or for my english final tomorrow!

Wow.....you guys are still in school? I finished on the 10th of December! I feel for you.

That you're in school! The working world bites - at least mine does.

My boss is an ass to everyone. I get stuck trying to do things and make compromises that are nearly impossible and I have to be here all day, everyday! Uggh! I can feel my mind turning to mush as I sit here. I can't wait to use my mind again.

I'll be so happy on my last day of work!

the working world definitely bites. thank god i'm only working part time now.
