i've been checking out programs from AMA/FREIDA online for the 2007 MATCH .

just to clear something up ; i fit in the 2007-2008 applicants, right ?

if so , some of their websites & replies i got from program coordinators indicate their deadline was DECEMBER 2005 !!! FOR THE 2007 MATCH !

does this make sense to anyone ? do some programs expect you to apply 2 yrs. in advance ? i'm applying to PGY-1 , just plain pediatrics , no combined or categorial positions .

i'd appreciate any feedback, plz. good luck to everybody here .

they probably didn't actually read through your email. at this time i would imagine most programs would be receiving a lot of inquiries regarding 2006 entry.

if you aren't already doing this, it might help if you place something like "2007 admission" in the title, so the first thing they see is 2007, if you still get the same responses then you might wanna try requesting info a couple of days after the match, when i think the work might be lighter. however, i think the best alternative would be to call the place up.

p.s. just outta curiosity, where did you go to med school??
